The cornerstone of Emmaus Mission is the simple liturgies we use. These simple liturgies organize scriptures and prayers for our common worship: they are Good News for the scattered mind.  Together, the liturgies form a daily prayerbook called The Emmaus Manual, that hopes to offer folks a simple life with this Good News, a slow and steady rhythm of scripture and prayer so that we can return to the tables we set out in the world.  The hope of the Emmaus Manual is to give people confidence to say, "That even though nothing works out and nothing makes sense, a simple life with this Good News is my new home. My home until he comes back."  The Emmaus Manual is, itself, an adaptation and reimplementation of the the 1979 Book of Common Prayer, a book that continues to form me and  for which I am forever grateful.
The Emmaus Manual is offered as a pdf here below, the several expansion

The pdf are free to use. And all (or portions) can be easily made to into little books in this way:
1.  print out the pdf, making it one-sided, with four sheets per page (for example, 160 page pdf should print out as 40 pages).
2. Fold each page lengthwise so the blank side does not show, then widthwise, to make a little square. Tear along the widthwise crease.  This should give you little folded pages you can stack.
3. Each page (or stack of pages) can then be hole punched with the top two holes of a three-hole punch. Make sure to punch holes on the left side (the numbers should show on the right side)
4. With string, thread, or even a rubber band (you will need to break it so it becomes a piece of string) put one end through one hole then the other, then repeat on the other side until it is bound nice and tight.
5. use a piece of duct tape along the edge to make it feel like it has binding.
